Hands of Mercy Orphanage

After a white knuckle overnight (14 hour) bus ride from Nairobi to Tanzania (Mwanza), we arrived at the ‘Hands of Mercy’ orphanage where we lived as locals. This was one of the most ‘eye opening’ experiences I have ever had.

These people have nothing, not even running water. We helped with what we could (education, clothes, pens and books) and plan to raise money for several projects.
