I have just completed some editorial work...this one was certainly messy and a little tricky to do! Although I think I am happy with the outcome. Any guesses on how the liquid from the bottle was done?

Engagement Portrait Shoot of Elina & Karl

A cool brisk morning in Tuusula was the scene for the Engagement shoot of Elina & Karl. I cant wait to shoot their wedding this summer in Porvoo!

A little sun flare created this interesting image, if you think about the sun as a photographic light source, it can be used creatively to create hair light and flare..

Elina is lit by a speedlight in a softbox to create the correct exposure for the entire photograph and the sun is used as a back/side light for Karl.

Back in Finland

Well its certainly been a little while since the last blog. My move from Australia to Finland via Africa has certainly kept me busy the last months. Thanks to the shipping strike in Finland, I'm still waiting for most of my camera equipment. its sitting in a container on the docks ...Any how, on with the snow..whoops...show! Here are a couple of snaps from my friends Christening a couple of weeks ago...its difficult for me to go to an event without at least one camera...and a few lenses...very different vibe than a wedding.....:)
